Since 1997 we have been sending 375 wheelchairs and 107 artificial limbs to The Gambia. In the beginning we worked with the Social Services Department in Banjul. For the last years we have been helping the GPDSA (Gambian Physically Disabled Sports Association) set up an independent wheelchair repair workshop in Serrekunda. We also support the GPDSA by paying the salary for their secretary, helping with travelling funds and their membership fees for the Paralympic Games
